Tell the story of Houston food at your next private event.  We have multiple spaces within the restaurant to accommodate events large and small.

The Space

Designed as a contemporary farmhouse, with soaring barnlike ceilings and handcrafted American walnut tables, the setting feels classically Southern with thoughtful, progressive detail.

The kitchen is open to the dining room with lowered counters to facilitate interaction between Chris and his guests. Tucked with mixed chairs donated from Chris’ closest friends, a large 32-seat community table runs parallel to the kitchen line encouraging guests to swap stories with Chris and the crew. A large wine cellar distinguishes the bar area that emphasizes the agricultural aspect of wine through the use of large windows and rural fabric. There is a private dining room that seats 36.

Catering

We now offer catering for offsite events. Whether you'd like Underbelly's famous Korean braised goat and dumplings at your next corporate event or Hay Merchant's signature wings when you're throwing a game day party at home, we're happy to take care of you. Feel free to pick up your order at the restaurant, or we can deliver, set up and serve for a fee.
